Fighting for Sight is a charity that has been created to:-

Support high-quality clinical research focussed in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of eye diseases in adults and children |
| 2. |
Help provide visual rehabilitation and visual aids to visually impaired patients |
| 3. |
Promote patient education and create support groups |
The immediate goal is to build the "Fighting for Sight Clinical Research Centre" adjacent to the Eye Clinic at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Since we began in 2001, the Evening Express has promoted our charity by making their readers aware of our aim and highlighting our fund raising events.
Since the year 2001 we have raised almost £90,000 with the help of patients, local businesses and supporters of Fighting for Sight

Football tournament held in the Beacon Sports Complex where the money raised was donated to Fighting for Sight.
